I am a wedding photographer located in Danbury, Connecticut but often travel to cities such as New Haven, Stamford, and other surrounding towns. This wedding took place in Stratford and the couple asked to be photographed in a park. The whole family came for the photo shoot. After the family arrived and we were ready to take photos, the bride realized that she forgot her flowers! It was already too far and too late to go back to the house to get the bouquet so someone suggested picking some flowers off the tree. It was a warm May and many trees at that time were blossoming. She picked some white flowers and turned them into a wedding bouquet. You couldn't really tell this wasn't her real bouquet, I always made sure the bouquet was not the center of attention. For this image we wanted to create some movement. I asked the groom to hold the bride and tell her something funny, if possible do the dip. Before you knew it, they were both laughing with genuine laughter and he held her down to the side. I took the photo while they were very engaged and focused on the interaction with each other. This was one of the favorite images they chose for their wedding album.
