I have recently had a privilege of photographing a large graduation party at the Ethan Allen Hotel.
Ethan Allen Hotel is one of my favorites venues to photograph. It is located in Danbury, CT right off of the 84.
I love the hotel's ambiance and very stylish decor.
When I photograph weddings or any other larger events, I try to capture everything: the decor, table settings, flowers and other details.
I shot this image at a f2.8 and 200mm which gave me a nice background compression. I love shooting details this way and even though I was not able to use my 100mm macro lens at that moment to capture other small details on the table, this 70-200 lens was able to do the job so well. I love using it for shots like that.
I try to capture a variety of images at every event. I shoot with two cameras and like to switch angles often. It is very important for me to offer my clients with options to pick their favorite photographs. Small details like this always end up somewhere in their albums and are remembered forever.
There is so much preparation that is involved in any larger event including weddings that as a wedding photographer in Danbury, CT, I feel it is my responsibility to capture all the details.
